Lunch and Learn Follow-Up

Thank you to everyone who attended our Lunch & Learn on the 21st. I have received a lot of wonderful feedback and will plan to host another one in the fall. I wanted to follow-up with everyone and leave you the contact information for each vendor that visited with us, in case you were unable to attend and would still like the information.
Aging Resources is a LifeLong Links (Iowa’s Aging and Disability Resource Center) local coordination center providing information referral and assistance to adults with disabilities. order to remain safe and independent in their homes/independent living. They can help you coordinate community services, such as non-medical home health caregiving assistance, housekeeping services, transportation services, etc., to help you stay safely in your own home. 515-255-1310

Luther Park Adult Day Center provides a safe, nurturing and healthy environment to promote overall wellness. Our participant-centered focus enables our members to receive individualized care within a supervised environment. Their mission is to provide a fun and creative program that engages adults diagnosed with dementia and other cognitive impairments. This service allows a safe, loving, and nurturing environment while the spouse/caregiver needs to take time to themselves for leisurely activities, shopping, and/or appointments. They can also help with shower/bathing assistance, which can be very challenging for caregivers to sometimes do on their own at home. 515-266-7033
